My Story: Reflections {by kyllingsara}

“After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure; that you really are strong, and you really do have worth, and you learn, and you learn.” —Jorge Luis Borges

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I thought I’d offer some solidarity to the authors of one of the most brave and unflinching accounts of DID, developing out of severe trauma, I have ever read. The entries continually leave my speechless.

Writers such as kyllingsara are changing the world, bit by bit.

    • Thank you for a beautiful compliment. It’s my privilege. Truly.

      And two is just thus far! Your words are critically important and need to be written, and it is my hope many ultimately find your essential and quite brazen site. I will certainly be reading!
