Ladies, Gents, and everyone not previously mentioned: I am going to be reading a piece of short fiction at the Monthly Bodega on June 3rd. (24 Saint Nicholas Avenue, Bushwick, Brooklyn, right around the corner from the Jefferson stop on the L.)
This month’s reading is during Bushwick Open Studios, and Kelley B., master of ceremonies/MC/hostess with the mostest, promises to make this one special. As in there will be booze and birthday cake. (Definitely.) And magical surprises. (Maybe.)

Be sure to listen to my reading of “A Real New York Story: One of the 99%,” right here on my site
Thank you so very deeply to those of you who came to my reading, and others who have continually engaged my writing on this site. It means so very much. Really. Some of your comments have truly touched me; as has your own work.
All in all, it was a lovely night indeed, and due to the immense camaraderie of brilliant audio and video engineer, producer, and director, Noel Benford, I am privileged enough to have a stellar recording of my piece fr The Bodega’s Anniversary Show.

If you do come, I can promise two things: a splendid, diverse selection of beers and wine, and a deep promise to resist any urge to dance (should it arise).
